Isuru Salinda Dunukara of North Central Province and Gayani Prathapasinghe of Southern Province clinched the Men’s and Women’s title respectively in the 45th National Sports Festival (NSF) Race Walking events worked off in Anuradhapura.
27-year-old Isuru from Sri Lanka Army completed the course of 20km with a time of 1 hour, 38 minutes and 38 seconds.
Meanwhile, 25-year-old Gayani also from Sri Lanka Army, clocked one hour, 54 minutes and 28 seconds to complete the course of 20km.
The Men’s and Women’s marathon events will be worked off in Anuradhapura today.
