Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) announced the Test squad for the upcoming series against the visiting Australia team with four new caps being names.
Among the rookies are batsmen Roshen Silva and Dhananjaya de Silva, fast bowler Asitha Fernando and left-arm Lakshan Sandaken.
Surprisingly prominent allrounder Milinda Siriwardana has not being named in the Test squad.
The first Test will begin at Pallekele from Tuesday (26).

A Sri Lanka Air Force Bell 212 helicopter belonging to the No. 72 squadron has crashed into the Madhuru Oya reservoir this morning, Air FOrce Media Spokesman Eranda Geeganage said.
Update: Five of the twelve passengers on board the bell 212 aircraft that crashed into the Maduru Oya today, have succumbed to their injuries, the SLAF said.
