The 33rd annual Mercantile Badminton Championship, organised and conducted by the Mercantile Badminton Association (MBA) will begin from Saturday (8) at the MBA Courts in Colombo 7.
With a record number of entries this year, the MBA has planned to conduct the competition until October 30.
A total of 270 teams under 24 categories and with a total of 2000 matches, the tournament is expected to be an exciting one.
The events scheduled are Men’s 'A' to 'H' Divisions, Women’s 'A' to 'E' Divisions, Men’s Veteran 'A' to 'C' for Over-40s, Master’s Over-40, Women’s Veteran for Over-35s and Women’s Veteran for Over-40s.
