Sri Lanka Navy won their first Baseball championship when they defeated Sri Lanka Army 14-6 in the finals of the Singer Cup Sri Lanka Baseball Championship 2018, concluded at the Sri Lanka-Japan Friendship Baseball grounds in Diyagama.
The Sailors were unbeaten throughout the preliminary rounds and lived up to their reputation to emerge worthy champions.
In the second semifinal played in the morning Old Anandians were outplayed by the SLA in every department of the game, and finished third.
In the Ladies match, Sri Lanka Army scored a thrilling 6-5 win over Sri Lanka Navy .
