Slovenia and Hungary emerged winners in the Men's and Women's segments of the Leg four of the International Basketball Federation 3x3 Basketball Nations League Tournament 2017 worked off for the second day at the Sir John Kotelawala Defence University Outdoor courts in Ratmalana on Saturday (19).
Leg five of the tournament will be played on Sunday (20) at the same venue to bring down curtain of the the 2017 edition which was participated by Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Hungary, Slovenia, Jordan and host Sri Lanka.
Sri Lanka fielded four teams with two each in both Men's and Women's events but managed to win only one game in the Women's segment preliminary round with a close 15-14 win over Jordan found a berth in the semi-finals.
Slovenia with two wins against Sri Lanka 'A' and Netherlands qualified for the Men's semi final while Hungary with a win over Sri Lanka 'B' entered the Women's semi-finals.
