Hindu College, Colombo defeated their traditional rivals Hindu College, Jaffna by 71 runs in their 10th annual Battle of Hindu Inter-School Big Match which concluded at the P. Sara Oval in Colombo on Saturday (9).
Hindu College, Jaffna were bowled out for just 84 runs in their second innings after they were set a victory target of 155 runs in this low-scoring encounter.
Earlier, Hindu College, Colombo went on to snatch a close first innings lead following some useful contributions from M. Kenishan (44), H. Prasad (21 n.o) and B. Akash (21).
