Sri Lanka cricket captain Dinesh Chandimal has been ruled out of the second Test match against England which will begin on Wednesday (14) at Pallekele.
Chandimal will be rested for two weeks following a groin injury sustained during the first Test played at Galle.
Former Richmond College skipper Charith Asalanka has been named as Chandimal's replacement.
Suranga Lakmal will lead Sri Lanka at the Pallekele Test.
