The Super 8 round of the SLC AIA Trophy Premier League Inter-Club Cricket Tournament commences from today (11) with a card of four matches.
The teams qualified for the Super 8 stage are Tamil Union, Moors, CCC and Ragama CC from Group ‘A’ and Galle CC, NCC, Colts and SSC from Group ‘B’.
Matches will be played as four-day games under a league basis.
The remaining six teams -- Chilaw Marians, Sri Lanka Ports Authority, Saracens, Bloomfield, Army SC and Badureliya SC will compete in the Plate Championship which begins from Friday (12).
The four-day matches beginning from today will be of Tamil Union vs SSC at Baybrooke Place, CCC vs Colts CC at P. Sara Oval, Moors SC vs NCC at Havelock Park and Ragama CC vs Galle CC at Maitland Place.
