The International Cricket Council released the schedule of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, which will be staged from May 30 to July 14 next year in England and Wales.
The 10-team competition will be played as a single league tournament for the first time since 1992 and will be played through 46 days at 11 venues.
The ICC CWC 2019 will kick off on May 30, 2019 between hosts England and South Africa at The Oval.
Sri Lanka will play their first game against New Zealand on June 1, 2019 at Cardiff.
The Lankans will take on Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Australia, England, South Africa, West Indies and India respectively from June 4 to July 6.
The tournament will include a total of 48 matches including the two semi-finals and the final, which falls on July 14, 2019 at Lords.
