Sri Lanka's Dilhani Lekamge finished overall fifth in the Women's Javelin Throw event with the best of 56.02m at the Commonwealth Games 2018 today (11).
Lekamge recorded 51.13m, 53.58m, 56.02m, 53.73m, 49.55m and 53.82m respectively in her six attempts.
The gold medal was won by Kathryn Mitchell of Australia, who threw 68.92m while her compatriot Kelsey-Lee Roberts recorded 63.89m to claim the silver medal.
South Africa's Sunette Viljoen won the bronze medal with a throw of 62.08m.
