Suranga Fernando failed to qualify for the finals of Men's 10m Air Pistol event after being ranked ninth at the Commonwealth Games 2018 today (9).
Fernando completed with 563-11x points after recording 93, 94, 96, 92, 92 and 96 in the six rounds.
The list of qualified shooters is led by young Indian Om Mitharval (22) who obtained 584-26x points.
Shooter from Trinidad and Tobago, Malaysia, India, Singapore, two from Australia and Bangladesh ended up in order between Mitharval and Fernando (32), who missed out a berth in the final to Bangladesh shooter Shakib Ahmed, who claimed 563-14x points.
