The 20th Tour de Air Force, or the 'Guwan Hamuda Papedi Sawariya', will begin from March 1 opposite the Air Force Headquarters in Colombo.
Closer to 150 cyclists representing both genders, have already entered for the three-day event, which is expected to cover a distance of 404kilometres and will come to an end in Polonnaruwa on March 3.
On the opening day the race will flag off at 8.30am from Colombo and will cover Peliyagoda, Ja Ela, Nittambuwa, Kegalle and finishing off near Getambe in Kandy.
The total distance will be 114.03 kilometres.
The route for the second day will be from Getambe in Kandy through Katugastota, Mawathagama, Kurunegala, Padeniya, Galgamuwa and will end in Thambuttegama covering a distance of 146.06 kilometres.
On the final day a distance of 126.8 kilometres will be covered from Thambuttegama through Hingurakgoda, Minneriya, Digampathana, Dambulla, Kekirawa, Maradankadawala and end in Polonnaruwa.
The Women's race will be held on the final day of the Men's race, on March 3, from Dambulla to Polonnaruwa, covering a distance of 65 kilometres.
Sri Lanka Air Force are the organisers of the event, which is conducted by the Cycling Federation of Sri Lanka.
