M.S.M. Faslan was re-elected as President of Beruwela Football League at its 41st Annual General Meeting held at the Najeeb Hadjiar Education Centre in Lotus Road, Dharga Town.
Faslan is the current Treasurer of Zavia Sports Club in Dharga Town and he is also the Treasurer of Football Federation of Sri Lanka.
Faslan received 10 votes in favour while his opponent M. Ramzan, representing Super Sun Sports Club received eight votes.
With 10 votes to his favour M.F.M. Rizmy was elected the Assistant Treasurer against Jazook Ahmed of YMSC, who got eight votes.
Other officials were elected unanimously.
The AGM was headed by Panel Judge M.M. Ramiz, an Executive Committee Member of Football Federation of Sri Lanka.
Balendra Anthony, the General Secretary of Football Federation of Sri Lanka attended the occasion as Chief Guest.
In honour of the Founder President and former Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Late Nowfel S. Jabir and Past President Late A.A.M. Saheed and all demised League players, a two-minute silence was observed.
