The Ladies Puffin cup was also won by Nuwara Eliya under Rohina Macan Marker in a hard fought battle by 4.5 matches to 3.5.

As the tournament climaxed towards the celebrated Burdett Trophy, expectations at the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club rose as the their team pulled back winning the first singles match after Colombo had taken an early lead in the doubles matches that morning.

However, the experienced Colombo team captained by Primal Wijenayake finished off well to retain the 114th Burdett Trophy and conclude a very successful tournament hosted by Nuwara Eliya Golf Club under its captain Firaz Hameed.
