Experienced J.M.D. Indika, continued his consistency returning a crucial 1 under par 70, in the final Round of CAT Solar Pin Fernando Grand Prix to extend his winning margin to 2 strokes from M.U. Chanaka Perera who carded an Even Par 71 to clinch the runner-up spot from the Navy 3 strokes adrift in 3rd place.
In the absence of the top ranked 2 players on National duty in Pakistan playing in the 56th Pakistan National Amateur Golf Championship, the Winning score of Indika was a creditable 3 under par total, for the 4 Round Pin Fernando Grand Prix July Edition, powered by CAT Solar, sponsored by UTE.
In the junior segment T. Akash maintained his lead and finished 10th overall.
The August Edition of the CAT Solar Pin Fernando Grand Prix will be conducted in Nuwara Eliya together with the Sri Lanka Open.
