Golf: Sanjeewa wins Donald Steel Trophy 2019

Sanjeewa Wickremanayake stamped his class by winning the Donald Steel Trophy 2019 at the Golf tournament worked off at the Victoria Golf & Country Resort (VGCR) on February 2.

Melanie Bond walked away with the Pam Fernando trophy for the Ladies Gross winner of the vent.

Meanwhile, Victoria Bowl Ladies Net winner was Shirani Buffin, while 15-year-old, Haron Aslam won the Ebert Pot Net winner at this year’s event which saw more than 75 Golfers in the fray.

Junior Golfers too were awarded in their respective segments at this colorful event which was followed by a cocktail hosted by the VGCR.
