An 18-member Sri Lanka men's hockey team has been announced for the Asian Games Qualifying Round Hockey Tournament to be held in Oman from Match 8 to 17.
This is the first time that a Sri Lanka team is taking part in an Asian Games Qualifying Round.
Ten countries are taking part in Sri Lanka's group.
The draw has not been released to date.
Anuruddha Herath Bandara is the Head Coach.
Pulasthi Lanerarolle is the Assistant Coach.
The team is training daily at the Astro Turf in Colombo
The Sri Lanka team: Sandaruwan Priyalanka, Maduranga Wijesinghe, Lahiru Wijesuriya, Tharindu Heendeniya, Chamalka Rukshan Fernando, Ishanka Jayasundera, Nalantha De Silva, Dhammika Ranasinghe, Thilina Perera, Tharanga Gunewardena, Malinda Hapugasgodage, Sajith Costa,W.M.P.P. Bandara,Udayashan Fernando, Rajitha Kulatunga. Anuradha Suresh, Damith Bandara and Mohammed Mulafir.
