The 3rd annual Battle of Thomians Big Match Hockey encounter between S. Thomas’ College, Mt. Lavinia and St. Thomas’ College Matale will be played at the Edward Park Hockey ground in Matale on October 1.
The main match is expected commence at 4.00pm.
The annual Hockey encounter is hosted by the two schools on a rotational basis every year, and this year's match will be hosted by St. Thomas’, Matale.
The event is jointly organised by the Old Thomians Hockey Union (OTHU) of Mt. Lavinia and the Matale Old Thomians Hockey Association (MOTHA).
Nations Trust Bank and Ceylinco ‘Life’ Insurance are the main sponsors.
