This time around too Nations Trust Bank has come forward to sponsor the 'Battle of the Thomians' big match between two of the leading hockey playing schools, St. Thomas' College Matale and S. Thomas' College Mount Lavinia.
The match is scheduled to be played at the Astro Turf Hockey grounds at the Racecourse in Torrington, Colombo September 24 at 4.00pm.
The junior match will be played at 3.00pm.
The main sponsors Nations Trust Bank handed over the sponsorship package to the heads of two schools recently at its head office.
The encounter is jointly organised by the Matale Old Thomians Hockey Association and Mount Lavinia Old Thomians Hockey Union.
