The ongoing MCA Division ‘F’ 25-Over League Cricket Tournament 2016 slid further into turmoil, due to prevailing inclement weather.
The MCA Tournament Committee at their weekly meeting on Wednesday, decided to postpone the 20 matches billed for this weekend of May 28 and 29.
The tournament which got underway on May 7 survived the weather till May 14, where 22 matches were completed.
Then came the rain and all 10 matches billed for May 15 was washed out without a ball being bowled. The tournament was put on hold during the Vesak weekend of May 21 and 22.
The postponed matches will now be rescheduled and the tournament is expected to get back on track during the weekend of June 4 and 5.
