Sri Lanka thrashed Brunei by 55-20 to secure a berth in the semi-final of the 10th Asian Netball Championship in Bangkok, Thailand on Thursday (4).
Sri Lanka led 25-9 at halftime and accelerated their pace during the third quarter to finish off in a high note, after being handed a unexpected 32-38 defeat by Malaysia on Tuesday (3).
On Tuesday (2) Sri Lanka thrashed Japan by 67-14 after receiving a walkover from the UAE.
Malaysia are leading Group 'B', where Sri Lanka is also drafted while defending champions Singapore are comfortably placed on top of Group 'A'.
Sri Lanka's next game will be up on Saturday (5), which will be the semi-final game against the Group 'A' leaders, most probably defending champions Singapore.
