The All-Island Netball Tournament conducted by the Western Province will take place on July 2 at the Sri Lanka Air Force grounds in Colombo.
The one-day tournament is being conducted by the Western Province Netball Association and is being conducted for the 63rd time.
The competition is being sponsored by International Cosmetics Pvt. Ltd and will be competed for the Eva Trophy.
The event is being held under four categories.
They are Division A (Open Men and Women), Division B (Open Women), Schools Division (Under 15, Under 17 and Under 19) and the Veterans Division.
Netball clubs, mercantile firms, government institutions, universities and schools (local and international) will take part and over 100 teams are expected to take part.
The tournament is extremely popular and several national and international players have been produced by this tournament.
This competition will also serve as a talent search for the 2018 Asian Netball Championships to be held in Singapore.
Entries close on June 23.

Sri Lanka Army emerged A Division champions last year.
The B Division and Veterans champs were Speed Birds.
In the schools tournament Under-15 champions – St. Bridget’s Colombo, Under-15 – Sirimavo Balika and Under-19 champions – Holy Family Convent, Kurunegala.
