Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) released the names of the Test squad of 22 players that will represent Sri Lanka against New Zealand in the two-match Test Series, which is part of the ICC Test Championship.
Dimuth Karunaratne will continue to captain the Sri Lanka side, as Niroshan Dickwella, Dinesh Chandimal, veteran spinner Dilruwan Perera and Akila Dananjaya make their comebacks into the side.
The squad also includes Shehan Jayasuriya and Angelo Perera, who are yet to earn Test caps.
According to SLC, the squad of final 15 players will picked from the 22 for each games.
The first Test will begin from August 14 at Galle, followed by the second Test at the P. Sara Oval in Colombo from August 22.
