Star Kandy Sports Club player Danush Dayan will lead Sri Lanka at the First Leg of the Asia Sevens Series Rugby Championship 2019, which will kick off this Saturday (31) in South Korea.
However, though the initial squad was released last week, changes have been made with a few injuries to key players.
Sachith Silva, the Police Sports Club flyhalf, experienced a hamstring injury and has been taken off the First Leg, with Naveen Henakankanamge of Havelocks Sports Club, coming in as his replacement.
Sri Lanka will face China and Japan on the opening day of the tournament before meeting United Arab Emirate on Sunday, before the competition reaches the knockout stage.
