In a closely contested second round game of the Dialog Division ‘A’ Club Rugby League Tournament Havelocks SC prevailed over CR and FC with a 26-21 win at Havelock Park on Saturday (20).
At halftime Havelocks held the lead by 14-6 and went on to score from four tries and three conversions.
CR scored from two tries, a conversion and three penalties.
With the win, Havies retained the Eustace Matthyz Trophy.
A Sri Lankan man was apprehended at Suvarnabhumi airport for attempting to smuggle wildlife out of the country after three ball pythons were found hidden in his underwear, the Bangkok post reported.
