Rugby: Kandy thump Havies 20-9 to remain unbeaten after first round
Kandy SC remained unbeaten after the first round of the Dialog Rugby League Championship after overcoming Havelocks SC by 20-9 ay Havelock Park today (16).
At halftime the Havies had the advantage of leading by 6-3 but Kandy pulled off in spectacular fashion after the turnaround to clinch a decisive win.
Kandy scored from three tries, a conversion and a penalty while the Havies scored from three penalties.
