Malaysia claimed an inspiring 31-26 win, despite a late surge from Sri Lanka in a friendly international rugby match played in Kuala Lumpur a short while ago today (4).
Sri Lanka opened scoring with two penalties but Malaysia played a dominant game, capitalising on their opponent's scrappy style of play to lead the first half by 24-6.
Eventually Malaysia won the game with a tally of four converted tries and a penalty.
Sri Lanka scored from two converted tries and four penalties.
On Thursday (2) Sri Lanka President's XV beat Malatsia Barbarians by 55-14.
