Former S. Thomas' College has been named the skipper of the Sri Lanka Under-20 Sevens side for the upcoming Asian Under-20 Sevens Series.
Sri Lanka has been drawn against China, Singapore and Chinese Taipei in Pool 'B' in the two-day competition which will be held in August 10 and 11 at the Kings Park Stadium in Hong Kong.
Sri Lanka will include a few well experienced players who were part of the Asian Sevens Series from last year.
Nilfer Ibrahim will coach the side with Sri Lanka's most celebrated rugby player, Fazil Marija as his assistant.
Hong Kong, South Korea, Malaysia and Thailand are the remaining teams that will compete under Pool 'A'.
