Angelo Mathews has been named as the skipper of the Sri Lanka Cricket Board XI for the two-day warm-up match against South Africa, which will be played at the P. Sara Oval in Colombo this weekend.
Mathews will lead a virtual Sri Lanka first string side, which includes Kaushal Silva, Dhananjaya de Silva, Roshen Silva, Danushka Gunathilaka and few other up and coming national caps.
The match will be played on Saturday (7) and Sunday (8) ahead of the first Test between Sri Lanka and South Africa at Galle from next Thursday (12).
