MAS Holdings emerged champions of the 10th Mercantile Swimming Championship for the President's Challenge Trophy, winning the title for the sixth consecutive year, at the Thurstan Swimming Complex on Sunday (16).
Overall champs MAS Holdings collected 720 points to become clear champions ahead of John Keells Holdings, who collected 577 points to become runners-up.
With 158 points HSBC finished overall third while Hayleys Group (155 points) and Hemas Holdings (134 points) ended up at fourth and fifth places respectively.
The championship, where over 600 swimmers representing 40 private firms took part, was organised by Thurstan College Aquatic Club in association with Sri Lanka Aquatic Swimming Union.
