Dr. Nimal Lucas won seven medals – five gold and two bronze – in Table Tennis at the New Zealand Masters Games held in Dunedin.
Dr Lucas won gold medals in the Over-70 Men's Singles, Over-70 Mixed Doubles, Over-65 Men's Singles, Over-65 Men's Doubles and the Over-65 Team event.
He clinched the bronze medals in the Over-70 Men's Doubles and Over-65 Mixed Doubles events.
With the seven medals from the New Zealand Masters Games, Dr. Lucas’ international medals tally in table tennis will be 57.
