Sri Lanka recorded a commanding 3-0 win against Oman in the Junior Davis Cup Asia Oceania Pre-qualifying Round played at the Sri Lanka Tennis Association courts in Colombo.

Sri Lanka juniors eased to victory after Tehan Wijemanne beat Muneer Tufail Al Rawahi in straight sets 6/1, 6/3 to win the first singles.

Chathurya Nilaweera recorded a similar win against Marwan Faiz Khanjari 6/1, 6/0 in the second singles before Sri Lanka doubles team of Dhilvan Herath and Chathurya Nilaweera comfortably beat Azzan Mrwan Amur Al Hajri and Marwan Faiz Al Khanjari 6/0, 6/0 to make a clean sweep.

Sri Lanka will meet Bahrain in another Group ‘D’ game in the tournament where 13 boys teams are competing.
