Prince of Wales’ College Moratuwa emerged the Singer Under-13 Division I Inter-School League champions after topping the list with 25.34 points.
Mahinda College Galle obtained 25.24 points and finished at second overall ahead of Royal College Panadura who finished at third with 20.30 points.
St. Peter’s College Colombo finished at overall fourth with 20.08 points in the competition.
The Under-13 Inter-School Division I tournament began on September 20, 2015 and lasted until January 2, 2016 with the participation of 73 school teams.
In the second round the number of teams were pruned down to 32 after their performances in the first round.
From there 16 teams qualified reached the knockout round and the best eight teams qualified from the first knockout round.
The best four teams competed in the final round which was played on a league basis to determine the best team of the competition.
