Nalanda College recorded a comfortable first innings victory over St. Sebastian's College Moratuwa to emerge the All-Island Schools Under-15 Division I Tournament champions in the final played at the Thurstan College grounds on Thursday (15).
St. Sebastian's batting first were restricted to 172 and Nalanda batted sensibly to reach 179-4 when play ended.
Nalanda opening batsman Lakshan Mayadunne top scored with a brilliant knock of 72 runs which included five fours and a six to win the Man-of-the-Final award.
