The Sri Lanka Rugby Football Union (SLRFU) officials confirmed the 12-member final squad for the upcoming Asian Schools Rugby 7s, under the captaincy of S. Thomas' College winger Naveen Henakankanamge.
Henakankanamge will lead a formidable Under-18 side at the four-day competition which will be held at the Kings ground in Hong Kong from July 22 to 26.
Isipathana College centre Sumudu Rankotge has been named as the deputy skipper of the team as Sri Lanka look forward to impress at the Asian Under-18 7s to be held for the second year running.
Sri Lanka is in Pool 'B' and will play against Malaysia, Thailand, Mongolia and Cambodia in the group stage round robin games.
The team will for Hong Kong tonight (21).
