Anula Vidyalaya Nugegoda will take on Devapathiraja Vidyalaya Ratgama in the final of the Schools Under-19 Girl’s Cricket tournament to be played at the Thurstan College ground in Colombo today (9).
Anula Vidyalaya are the defending champions of the competition while Devapathiraja Ratgama were the losing finalists last year.
The final will be played in the afternoon after the Third Place Playoff of the tournament between Vijayabahu MV Okkampitiya and Gothami BV Colombo which will be played in the morning.
Anula Vidyalaya beat Vijayabahu MV by 7 wickets while Devapathiraja Ratgama beat Gothami BV by 8 wickets in the semi-finals played at the CMS ground in Kotte on Monday.
Matches of this competition are played as 25-overs-per-side.
