West Indies beat India by 5 wickets to win the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup in the final played at Mirpur in Bangladesh on Sunday (14).
Put into bat first, India were bowled out for 145 with middle-order batsman Sarfaraz Khan top scoring with a 89-ball 51, which included five fours and a six.
West Indies reached the winning target losing five wickets with three deliveries to spare.
Ryan John and Alrazzi Joseph claimed three wickets each while Keemo Paul took two scalps.
Chemar Holder and Shamar Springer claimed a wicket each.
Keacy Carty remained unbeaten on 52 after facing 125 deliveries to guide West Indies towards victory.
Carty, who was named the man of the match, hit two boundaries during his marathon innings.
Bangladesh Under-19s skipper Mehedi Hasan won the player of the series award.
Bangladesh beat Sri Lanka to win the third place playoff on Saturday (13).
