Isipathana College emerged champions of the 8th Zahira Invitation Under-20 Schools Rugby 7s after they outclassed host Zahira College by 39 points to nil in the final played at Zahira College ground in Maradana on Saturday (6).
Isipathana took a comfortable 17-0 lead at the breather and accumulated their points through seven tries and two conversions.
Earlier in the semi-finals Isipathana beat Prince of Wales’ convincingly by 36-7 while Zahira defeated Sarawak Combined Schools Malaysia after the match ended in a deadlock score of 19-all at full time.
