Sri Lanka will meet hosts Hong Kong in the final of the Asian Under-20 7s Series, after winning all their games, at Kings Park in Hong Kong today (5).
The Cup final is expected to be a keenly contested battle between two unbeaten teams, Sri Lanka and Hong Kong, who topped their respective groups with high-riding wins.
Sri Lanka faced Korea in the Cup semi-final in the morning today (5) a resounding 33-5 win while in the other qualifier Hong Kong thrashed Chinese Taipei by 41-5 to reach the final.
Before that, Sri Lanka beat Chinese Taipei in their final Pool 'A' match during the morning by 28-14 following their successful first day campaign.
On Friday (4), Sri Lanka won all their group matches -- they beat Philippines by 24-00 before thrashing China by 43-7 and they went on to defeat Malaysia by 26-5 later in the day.
