Siyanetharu Sports Club, Gampaha and Casualine Sports Club, Kurunegala clinched the Men’s and Women’s Open titles respectively at the 14th Dialog President’s Gold Cup Volleyball Tournament which concluded at the National Youth Services Centre (NYSC) Indoor Stadium in Maharagama.
Siyanetharu SC defeated Balaras SC, Boralesgamuwa 3-0 (25-21, 25-20 and 25-18) in the Men’s Open final while Casualine SC received a walk over from Wijaya SC, Koswadiya.
Meanwhile, Dhammissara SC, Nattandiya won the Men’s Under-22 title when they beat Rajasinghe SC, Ruwanwella 3-0 (25-21, 31-29 and 25-22) in the final.
In addition, Alamona SC, Kegalle took the Women’s Under-22 title when they defeated Rathanapala SC, Mahauswewa 3-0 (25-17, 25-10 and 25-19) in the final.
