Current figures for the virus show 40,573 infected, 910 dead, and 3498 recovered at the time of writing. The majority of those cases, 40,195 infections and 908 deaths, are from mainland China. Sri Lanka today reiterated its rejection of all United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) resolutions on Sri Lanka including the external evidence gathering mechanism initiated by the OHCHR.
