Toxic 2009

The student council of Mercury Institute has organized an event that guarantees to be the most “happening party in town.” The event, an open-house party, will be complete with music by DJ Kapila, thrilling entertainment and good company.

The purpose of the event, Toxic 2009, is simply to provide Colombo with quality entertainment. “It’s a socialising event. The arts committee isn’t aiming for a profit but if we do make a profit we will use it for a CSR project,” a member of the student council explained.

Last year the student council of Mercury Institute organised a similar event Faranhite 323. The event was said to be an incredible success and this year they have decided to push the bar higher and present you with a party that will be bigger and better.

An invitation is extended to anyone who is eager for some good entertainment, outstanding music and an opportunity to mingle with party people. Tickets for the event are available For Mercury students at Rs.1250/- others at Rs.1500/-. Be sure to make your purchase and make your way to Holiday Inn, Grand ballroom hall on 28 February 2009 from 7:30pm onwards! Tickets can be purchased from Mercury Institute 376, Galle Road, Col-3.
