By Sanath Weerasuriya

The Concert and the launch of ‘Sihinayak’, maiden CD of Nadeeka Jayawardena will come alive at the BMICH on Monday, February 23.

Popular singer of the young generation, Nadeeka came into the limelight from his very first song ‘Sithijarekha’ in KasunKalhara’s ‘Radical Love’ album. He joined Kasin and Indrachapa Liyanage to create a new trend in the Sinhala music scene.

Nadeeka has created a couple of theme songs for television commercials and the most popular one was ‘Kiyana Kiyana’. He arranged the theme song of popular teledrama ‘Muthu Kirilli’ now being telecast on ITN. He is also the creator of ‘e-lanka’ theme song for television.

His Concert ‘Sihinayak’ will feature popular artistes Kasun Kalhara, Indrachapa Liyanage and the music direction will handled by Ranga Dasanayake.
