The Galle Literary Festival comes to Colombo with a lecture by British writer/ historian William Dalrymple to be held at the Park Street Hotel on Sunday, March 15 at 7 p.m. The free lecture is followed by a gourmet dinner with the writer.

The lecture is part of an initiative by the Galle Literary Festival to hold a series of events in Colombo this year to keep the spirit of the festival alive throughout the year. The event thus marks the launching of the ‘Benefactors of the Festival and Friends of the Festival’ initiatives.
William Dalrymple, one of the leading travel writers of the day will talk about his books, his love of India , and the everyday life of a writer.
