Arjuna’s Formula For World Cup
In the three previous episodes we discussed about Sri Lankan cricket’s entry into the big time game and the initial growing pains that they had to undergo. The 73rd Battle of the Saints between St Joseph’s and St Peter’s concluded at the P. Sara Stadium ended in another stale draw. The Peterites after being bowled out for 193 from their overnight score of 161 for 6 made to follow on with a deficit of 142 runs fought back to end the day on 279 for 3.

Thomas’ will be out to avenge their last over defeat to Royal last year. It is also pertinent to mention that this is the 128th consecutive encounter. World War one and two did not disrupt what is arguably the most looked forward cricket’s social event of the year.
