The Institution of Engineers Sri Lanka (IESL), will host its 24th annual exhibition at the BMICH, from October 9-11. According to a press release, ‘Techno 2009’ which marks the flagship event in the IESL calendar, will seek to elicit multi-faceted talents and skills in the spheres of engineering.
Over the past 23 years, the exhibition has maintained the highest quality standards. It has been widely accepted within the engineering fraternity that “Techno” is one of the leading exhibitions in the sphere of Engineering and Technology.
The exhibition will comprise special features such as, the IESL Engineering Pavilion, ‘Vidatha’ Exhibition in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Robot competition organized by the IESL’s IT Sectional Committee, the Junior Inventors’ Area in association with the JIY Committee of the IESL and the special area, the ‘Sri Lankan Zone’, for Mawbima Lanka Foundation members among others, the press release said. |
