Yoland dazzles

Yoland Aluwihare-Holm’s son Tissa Aluwihare and daughter-in-law Stefanie paid a touching tribute to the designer when they showcased Yoland ‘s stunning new collection at the Atrium of the Cinnamon Grand for a gathering of family, friends and members of the media.

The reception was sponsored by Bren Security Pvt Ltd, which is owned by Tissa Aluwihare. Yoland’s dazzling theme was mainly in different shades of mustard, and the piece de resistance was a fabulous black and mustard sari creation. Yoland herself was attired in a yellow creation that was embellished with her latest style of batik. Minutes after the fashion show, Colombo’s fashionistas were heading back-stage to grab their favourite pieces.
