Over one hundred models will turn heads as they glide the ramp this month sporting slinky slips of inky black hair, puffballs of tufted hair clumps and pomaded masterpieces. The Ramani Fernando Sunsilk Hair Academy’s annual graduation show will present the trendiest hair fashion looks in cut, colour and style.
Titled ‘Hair Art 2009’, the show to be held on November 24 at the Galadari hotel will introduce new hairstyling techniques and trends in cutting, shaving and moulding hair into signature and statement styles. The show will be a presentation of skills of the 80 graduating students of the Ramani Fernando Sunsilk Hair Academy. Produced and choreographed by Senaka De Silva, it promises to be a spectacular event.
“Our mission is to ensure that our graduates are second to none and in doing so we ensure that our certificate is valued by the industry. We are committed to ensuring that our trainees get the most comprehensive training we can provide in skills necessary to be successful in today’s market.” said Ramani Fernando, who herself has been a leading force in the hairdressing industry for over 30 years.
Sunsilk’s partnership with Ramani Fernando in the Hair Academy equips students with the necessary know-how to embark on a career in the industry.
