The 14th of February will usher in the Chinese New Year and the Year of the tiger. To the Chinese the world over there is actually a lot more to it than lion dances and firecrackers, although these two pieces of tradition are integral and more visible.
Chinese New Year to China and the Chinese the world-over, is like Christmas to the West. In essence, the Chinese New Year is spending time with family, gift giving and, the all important Food-Fest complete with the finest Chinese cuisine on offer.
This Food Fest comes to stripes again with the Year of the tiger at Airport Garden Hotel and will see a display of distinctive Chinese New Year fare with so much more primed by our own Chinese Chef, Xiong Yong …..
Beginning with hot soups of Crab and Green Bean, Pack Choy, Tomato and Chicken and tempting starters of Stir Fried Lobster and orange, Pork Spare Ribs in Black Bean Sauce, Crispy Duck in Plum Sauce to give a few from the vast choice on the Menu of Chef Yong.
A Main Course of succulent sliced Pork in Sichuan chili sauce, stir fried Crab in Black bean Oyster chili sauce, steamed Garupa in Soya Ginger sauce, mouth watering King Prawns in spicy sauce, the all time favorite of sliced chicken in Ginger, Garlic and Green chilli, and colorful stir flied vegetables, complete with Sichuan Crab Fried Rice, Hot Pot Prawn Fried rice, Singapore rice noodles with prawns, egg and bean curd, Cuttle fish Cantonese noodles.. the Menu holds so much more.
