Seven professionals attached to Sri Lanka's Information and Communication Technology Agency (ICTA) were recently awarded the status of Project Management Professionals by US-based Project Management Institute, according to a ICTA statement.
Requiring "three years of unique non-overlapping professional project management experience [with] at least 4,500 hours [and] 35 hours of project management-related training", this recently bestowed qualification "has contributed much to the efficiency of these personnel managing projects at ICTA that are critical to the ICT Development of the country under the eSri Lanka initiative"; according to an unnamed senior ICTA spokesperson quoted in the company's statement. |
